Improve an existing article to rank higher

Content

This article targets "[keyword]" but ranks on page 2. Here is the content: [paste article] Audit it against search intent and tell me: what's missing that a searcher expects, sections that are thin or off-topic, a better H1 and intro, where to add an FAQ section, and 5 places to add internal links. Then rewrite the introduction (under 120 words) so it answers the query in the first two sentences.

Filled in with A post on "best time to visit Kerala" stuck on page 2

What’s missing: a month-by-month table (the top 3 results all have one), monsoon Ayurveda season, and prices by season.

Thin or off-topic: the 400-word history of Kerala tourism. Cut it to 2 lines.

Better H1: Best Time to Visit Kerala: Month-by-Month Guide (With Prices)

Add an FAQ: Is Kerala good in monsoon? Is December too crowded? Best month for houseboats?

New intro
The best time to visit Kerala is October to March, when it’s dry and 23–32°C, ideal for beaches and backwaters. If you want lower prices and Ayurveda treatments, go in the monsoon (June–August). Here’s what each month is really like.

Explain a technical SEO issue to a client

Technical

Explain this technical SEO issue to a business owner who is not technical: [issue, e.g. "1,200 pages are crawled but not indexed"]. Cover: what it means in plain English, why it matters for their traffic, what likely caused it on a [WordPress / Shopify / custom] site, and what we'll do to fix it. Under 180 words, friendly and calm.

See example output

Filled in with 1,200 pages crawled but not indexed on a WordPress site

Google has visited about 1,200 pages on your website but decided not to include them in search results. Think of it as a library that received the books but left them in a box in the back room.

This matters because pages that aren’t indexed can’t bring in any visitors from Google.

On WordPress sites the usual cause is automatic pages nobody needs: tag pages, author archives and image attachment pages. They look thin and repetitive to Google, and that can make it trust the whole site a little less.

Here’s what we’ll do: hide those automatic pages from Google, make sure your important service pages are in the sitemap, and link to them more clearly from your homepage. You should see improvement in Search Console within 4–6 weeks.

Write a robots.txt for a site

Answer-engine optimisation check

Content

I want this page to be quoted by AI search tools (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search, Perplexity) for the question "[question]". Here is the page: [paste content] Tell me how quotable it is. Does it answer the question directly near the top? Are there clear definitions, lists or numbers an AI could pull? Suggest a 40–60 word answer block I could add, and any missing facts that would make it more trustworthy.

See example output

Filled in with "How much does a website cost in India?" for a web agency's pricing page

Quotable today? Partly. The answer is buried in paragraph 4, and the prices are only in images, which AI tools can’t read.

Add this near the top (52 words):

A basic business website in India costs ₹15,000–₹40,000. An e-commerce site costs ₹50,000–₹2,00,000, and custom web apps start around ₹3,00,000. Price depends on the number of pages, custom design, integrations like payment gateways, and ongoing maintenance, which usually costs 10–20% of the build cost per year.

Missing trust signals: a “last updated” date, what’s included at each price, and one real project example with its final cost.

Example only. Your answer will differ depending on your details and the AI tool.

Getting better results

Paste the data. AI tools don’t have live search volumes or your rankings. Paste in exports from Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush or Keyword Planner and let the AI do the sorting and writing.

Treat output as a first draft. Check schema in Google’s Rich Results Test and check robots.txt in Search Console before you upload anything.

Keep a human eye on intent. AI is good at grouping keywords. You know the business well enough to judge whether a cluster deserves its own page.

Questions people ask

Can ChatGPT do keyword research?
It can brainstorm and group keywords well, but it can’t see real search volumes. Use it for ideas and clustering, then check the numbers in a tool like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs or Semrush.
Will Google penalise AI-written SEO content?
Google’s position is that it rewards helpful content however it’s made. Thin, unedited AI text tends to perform poorly. Edited content that adds real experience and detail can rank well.
What's the best prompt for meta descriptions?
Give the AI the page’s keyword, the page’s main benefit and a strict character limit, and ask for the count next to each line. The meta rewrite prompt on this page does exactly that for many pages at once.
Can AI write schema markup?
Yes, and it’s usually accurate for common types like FAQPage, LocalBusiness and Article. Always test the output in Google’s Rich Results Test before you publish it.
